Costa Rica - No artifical ingredients! Part 1

As promised, I have some exciting new images to share with you as a result of our trip to Costa Rica over Christmas. It has taken some time to actually start processing the images due to some personal issues on the home front but good things come to those who wait.
The trip to Costa Rica was a celebration of success and the joy of family. A trip to Costa Rica has been anticipated for several years and early in January 2011, we actively started booking the accommodation and arranging travel. We initially thought that we wanted to experience the varied activities and sites of Costa Rica with an adventure tour but carrying around all my camera gear wouldn’t be that much fun. We found a place which suited our needs perfectly, a variety of adventure activities in one location, that place was El Remanso Lodge.
We can’t say enough good things about El Remanso. Was it the scenic accommodations, the scrumptious meals, the attentive staff, the variety of activities or the fact that we were treated more like family than guests? Daniel and Adriana have every reason to be very proud of their lodge. More about El Remanso and our activities in future posts.
Over the next few weeks, I will be posting about our trip to Costa Rica along with photos of the amazing wildlife and scenery we experienced. I will be creating a special Costa Rica Gallery with some of my favourite photos and expand on that gallery each week. This was my first adventure into the tropics with photography as a principal objective. I learned very quickly that photography here is unlike anything I have experienced before. In a future post, I will relate the difficulties and solutions. I hope you enjoy the journey from your computer as much as we did being there.
