Welcome to my site and thanks for stopping by!

I have been a naturalist for as long as I can remember.  As I grew up, I devoured nature magazines, field guides, National Geographic and nature programs on TV.  I received a Forestry Diploma from Sir Sandford Fleming College in Lindsay and spent several years working for the Ministry of Natural Resources. 

I began birding over 30 years ago and not long after that I began taking photographs to record my sightings with my Minolta X700 and 500mm mirror lens.

With the advent of digital photography and the instant feedback, I can continue to improve my skills.

This site is an accumulation of my best digital images, concentrating on avian photography.
